At first I found Jodhpur beyond my comfort threshold. It was too dirty, too stinky, too many people peeing on the street, too many cows eating stinky garbage. All of it made be pretty grumpy and drove me to a fancy hotel for lunch, where I dined at a cloth lined table overlooking peaceful fountains, under a watchful eye of turbaned waiters, living the grind on the other side of the gate.

But Jodhpur ended up growing on me... The Fort and the Armory is nothing short of spectacular. There're great views of the city from the hill that the Fort stands on, and you can see why Jodhpur is known as the Blue City - the blue of the sky trickles down into the exteriors of the houses in the valley below, creating a sea of blue at your feet.
