No destruction campaign can change a face of a city like renovation! And Beijing seems to be a prime example of it as it prepares for the Olympics in 2008. Old hutongs (alley ways) get torn down to put in new, more esthetically pleasing, ones. Developers are rushing to finish the ubiquitous construction before the next summer. Everything is being polished of and face-lifted, even Budweiser signs were being replaced around the city with the new designs.
