So, you think you've had Mongolian BBQ...

So, you think you've had Mongolian BBQ...

If Mongolians want to prepare a goat or a sheep for breakfast, lunch or dinner, they would first stuff the animal with hot stones and roast it in a pit full of charcoal and stones for a few hours. Once this is done, the beast can be consumed as needed. To complete the dish - parts of sheep or goat are placed in a large pot or bidon. Potatoes, carrots, and other niceties are added in and filled up with water, or beer. This stew is then cooked over low heat until the vegetables (Yes, Mongolians do consume those from time to time) are tender.
