We arrived in Odessa early on a Sat morning. Dropped off our luggage and took a stroll down an empty Pushkinskaya Str, turning off at Derebasovskaya, where we were going to have breakfast at Kompot.
We got to Kompot just in time for the 8 am opening. It was the most idyllic spot, reminiscent of a turn of (last) century Parisian cafe, with impeccably executed decor! Alek's fried eggs with toast & my risovaya kasha (rice porridge) were just right, too :)
